Full Description

The Stella series of disc music box was the first line of disc music box to be made by the long time cylinder music box manufacturer, the Mermod Freres of Ste. Croix, Switzerland. The Stella's unusual mechanical feature was the use of projectionless discs to play the music. This music box is likely from an early, 1895, production date. Mechanisms and carved mahogany case have been cleaned and restored, with 16 clean steel tune discs included. Serial No. 654. Dimensions: 29" x 22" x 14"
