Full Description
The Mira (Empress) series of disc music boxes was manufactured by the Mermod Freres of Ste. Croix, Switzerland, starting in 1903. The example displayed here likely had a production date of 1906. The cabinet, mechanisms, combs and discs are all in excellent condition. The tone is rich and resonant. With 24 bright and clean tune discs. 30" x 24" x 40" high
