The Regina Sublima Corona Automatic Disc Changer music box was introduced to the market circa 1897. Initially marketed as a lower cost alternative ($275.00) to the 27" Regina Orchestral Corona ($350.00) sales were slow due to the coin op route operators preferring the largest machine to attract the largest number of Nickels. Total production numbers of the Regina Sublima Corona appear to be fewer than 1000 units produced between 1897 and about 1907 when the Style 37 and 38 were dropped from the catalog. The present example is mahogany and has been fully restored, both mechanisms and case with piano sound board. Serial No.45257. With 12 tune discs. 30"x22"x69" More information.
